What channel mode for the octo strips? 4,6 or 8?

it has 8? hahaha. i've only been using six on the sd3. 8 sounds better though.

can i get the 8 for sd3 and compushow?

you'll have to ask SD man for the 8 channel profile for SD3. But I can make it for compu live.

ok so i checked the manual and it said the octo strip only had 4 and 6 channel mode so i really just need the octo strip II profile for compu show. I also just got some slimpar 64's by chauvet that I'd love to have the biggest profiles for, for compushow of course. ill post the same thing on the sd3 page so sd will see it.

I would recommend 48 channel mode that way you can patch in 8 profiles one for each strip.

I have tried changing the file name as mentioned above but have had no luck. When I unzip the file it shows up as empty.

I also created custom gobo icons that are most likely not in your icon library yet. Let me know if you want the zip file and the instructions on how to import them into the proper folder.
