Problem with Compu Live recognizing 2048FC USB to DMX hardware under Vista

I purchased the Compu 2048FC package, and I'm having problems with the software recognizing the hardware on my HP Vista laptop. The device shows up correctly, but when I launch the software, it says no DMX devices found.

I tried installing the software on an older XP desktop system I have and it works fine with the USB adapter, so I don't think it's a hardware problem.

Any ideas?

Hi Tpozzy,
I believe this will be a driver issue.
If your just starting to use it.

Unplug interface, and Restart computer and don't start any programs.
Let all processes do their thing.
When computer is all dont starting up.
Insert CD.
wait a minute or two and let the flash screen open up.
When it's open, close the flash screen
then plug in interface. Let the program look for drivers, and when it doesn't find them follow the wizard to install drivers from the Disc.
You should be good after this.
