ive already downloaded and installed the newest Venue XML i could find and its not on there

didnt work, venue still only has 3 models in it
You have to navigate to the "{User}Venue" in the manufacturer list when you are patching in the fixtures. Where are you placing the XML file? Should be in the user folder. Are you on Mac or Windows?
im on a mac, i thought i was putting it in the right folder
Tell you what, just place it in this file path and it should be the new default manufacturer file.
/Users/[username]/Elation/Common/Factory
Let me know if that works. Also you probably have to close Emulation and then re open it for it to see the file change.

thats where i put the file, and i also closed the program and restarted the computer, and still nothing
is there another profile that will work? like an American DJ one?
Weird. The file is in there I know it. I loaded it into my Emulation program and it showed up just fine. Try deleting it and re downloading the file. Or perhaps it got a bit messed up as I am on windows and i uploaded it from windows. I could try zipping it up or emailing it directly. I KNOW it is in there

Oh also ya pretty much any ADJ 7 channel profile will work for this fixture.
