Greetings,

So I am interested in purchasing an Elation Show Designer 1 and I have a question for all you owners out there, in case you know the answer:

Do you know if the SD responds or has issue with MIDI clock data? The reason I ask is I have a Chauvet Obey 40 and a Korg Kronos and when I attempt to send MIDI note ON data, the MIDI clock information being sent by the Kronos blocks the flow of information.

From what I understand from other users of DMX controllers, the Elation Products are much higher quality and, as such, most likely filter unwanted data.

Thoughts?

Clock data would be ignored. Look at the manual though to make sure the MIDI mapping is to your liking. If I recall, notes are used on multiple channels to accommodate many pages of scenes.
Thanks. Yeah, the mapping isn't exactly how I'd like it but it certainly would be workable. My issue is I just don't want a controller reading clock data so that'll work great!
