Hi, we have four Design Spot 250, several Par 64, and usually we rent some more mobile heads depending on our customers requirements. We have done a lot of gigs, usually business presentations (product showcases, trade shows, and so on) but ocassionally we also do parties and concerts.
Although my programming skills are ok, (we have one USB DMX controller and one hardware controller) I am wondering where could I find information on how to do better shows, regarding the aesthetics of light positioning, coordination between fixed and mobile lighting, the best use of the different effects, and maybe there is more than one trick I could learn to impress my customers.
I am looking for an online course, or a book, or maybe a guideline, anything would help.
