Show designer 2 fixture sdf file

I'm having problems with the sdf file....I save the fixture..ie test123.sdf .I drag and drop into the SanDisk 64mb compact flash formatted to fat16...but sd2 comes up with no files found ..am I doing something wrong..it saves the memory to cf card...and sd2 can see it ...so I think the card is ok....is there something at the pc end that's is causing this issue.....

Make sure the file name on the card is really "Test123.sdf", I have seen Windows add an extra suffix like .txt to the file name. Or sometimes you get "test.sdf.sdf". Also the .sdf file has to be created from the profile builder or downloaded from Elation. If the file doesn't have the correct data it won't work.

Hi again..when trying to send the .sdf file via com port using null modem cable...then click on file to send ..it says sending file but the sd2 isn't receiving the file ??

The sd2 menu must be set to receive the file.
