Software Compatibility

I own Compu 2006 with just the basic dongle and have been using it for a number of years. I just purchased a new Macbook and plan on running compulive on it using parallels... (As I do currently). My question is, if I download the latest version of Compulive, is it compatible with the dongle and software from 2006? Will I need to purchase all newer equipment? I am hoping I can save my current shows and just move them over to the current software with the current dongle.... anyone?
