Stage Pack 1 Dimmer in a box

The manuals that came with this is almost useless. I need to start from scratch and set this up. Is there any better info out there?
After some trouble shooting I find that both dimmer packs are bad. Some one else had owned this before me. It was supposed to be new from musicians friend.
