Stage Pack 1 - Help Me Out with Basic Instructions!

Please explain to me, as if I were your grandma, because I'm really feeling stupid at this point, how I can use the built in chase scenes in the Stage Setter 24 with two 415s and my 3 Pars, 2 ADJ (non-dmx)effects lights, and 2 Martin Raptors. Until I understand just a bit about this and, frankly, the manuals are useless for a beginner, I've bought a $300.00 dimmer switch. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.
