Where can we buy stepper motors for the DS250,
I am getting an error for the rotating gobo selection, so I am assuming that it is the stepper motor.

you can check the parts website on the Elation site.... If you are getting an error it might be the sensor, when was the last time it was in for service?
It has never been in for service! How often are we supposed to send them in. That would be about $110 round trip shipping for each unit plus your labor charges! I how have 4 units. I don't think I can afford to sending them in for service.

The reason I suspect it is the motor is because I recently purchased some used High End Studio spots. They had simillar errors and so I removed and checked the motors. For each error, the motor was bad. I had to almost dismantle one entire unit to get to some of the motors. So I figure I can probably do the same for the DS.
Also I have noticed on e-bay that the LED version of the DS250 seems to sell for less that the standard units. Whys is that so?
