Hey guys,
I have a question about how to program transparent chases with the DMX Operator Pro.
I have 8 Led's Fixtures setup on 2 Fixture buttons on the DMX Operator Pro console. 8 Led's 4 DMX channels per LED.So 2 LED'S per bank per fixture (4 leds on fixture 1,and 4 on fixture 2). The Led Break down is Channel 1 Strobe/dimmer 2-4 is RGB Color's.
With that configuration in mind, here's my question. While running a scene from the top panel, I want to use a chase as a transparent chase to override only the shutter/strobe channel of the Led's without disturbing anything thing else within the program.
For Example I have a scene already running, with preset color combination's, including other fixtures. For a little more flare I want to be able add a chase on top of the scene to get the leds to strobe in a specific pattern, without affecting the leds color or any other fixture already set by the scene.
I know you can do transparent chases by deselecting any fixture you don`t want to be affected by the chase while your programing it. You also have to use the Mix/SEQ button, it allows for the transparency, but that is just with the fixture button as a whole assuming you have a 8 or 16 channel fixture assigned there.
In Other words because theirs 16 DMX addresses per fixture, can I program a transparent chase that affects DMX Channel 1 without affecting DMX Channel 2.
I apologize for the long post hopefully that makes sense.
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks,
