Is there a way, or could these be a feature to consider. For example, Cue 1 is running, when you click on cue 2 it shuts down cue one and cue two takes over
To the best of my knowledge there isn't yet a way to do this yet, although I think it would be a great option to have.
One thing I found with LED pars cans is if you set one cuelist to blue, one to red etc. and disable Color mix HTP in the options tab, when you run blue after running red, it will replace red with blue, until you turn off blue.
If you enable Color mix HTP, clicking the red cue, then the blue cue will make purple.
Thanks What I am trying to accomplish is in a church environment. I have moved from a Behringer lightboard to Emulation. With the Behringer I could create presets and assign then to go buttons. Each time you clicked a go button it would transition from the old preset to the new. So far the only way I have to get around this is to create my cue and place a second cue as a fade to black at the end so when I want to move from one preset to another I fire the second cue in preset one and as it is fading out fire the second preset which has the new scene.
If the order of cues will always be in the same order, you could program halt commands into a cuelist, so that it will require you to hit play for it to advance to the next series of commands. Just an idea. Although it wouldn't work out for improv.
Sounds like you guys are looking for playback macros. Basically, they do a command when the cue is hit. I use them a lot on the Hog for asserting cue lists, playback cue/scenes, and releasing lists/scenes. See picture below:
