Unique problem with Elation Stage center 8 DMX controller.

I have the controller set on 1X16 mode so I have controll over all 16 channels. I have come across a problem. When I turn the unit on the channels go from 0-255, then after a little bit the channels only go from 0-126, then 0-126 again? Is there somthing that is set wrong? I have done the factory reset and still the same thing is happening.
