In October 2006 my company purchased 6 Vision Scan 575e fixtures from a local business. We have since returned four out of six of those for power supply issues and one has been returned twice. I currently have one fixture that is not powering on and will be sending that one back here shortly. Also, out of the six that we have installed two are not striking bulbs (which I will be resetting the fixtures to see if that will sort the striking issues), and one that the rotating gobo wheel is not functioning. It remains as an open gobo. So out of six fixtures, two are working flawlessly. Now to my questions...one, the fixtures that were returned for service were gone for sometimes three months at a time. Will we get compensated for that through an extended warranty on the fixtures since we have returned, essentially, 5 out of 6 of them over a one year and four month period? Two, of those returns most have been do to failed power supplies. Is this a common occurrence with these fixtures or are we alone here? I dare to venture that we aren't because another club in our town has the same fixtures with the same issues. Three, Is there updated firmware available for these fixtures that remedy any of these problems? I know that Raphael was the support tech that our local company was dealing with directly on the last set of repairs, so he may have information that may help this situation.
