Will Emulation work with a Eurolight LC2412

I have never used computer controlled lighting software before.

Can I use the Eurolight LC2412 to program chases in Emulation?
It has midi in and out on it.
Is emulation for me? I am using 20 par32 cans. I need something with tap tempo to adjust chase tempo's on the fly. I would like to be able to have the eurolight in the dmx path incase the software crashes, this way I can revert back to the hardware controller. Is this possible?

Red house welcome to the forums. We do have a midi map for that. The map is based only on the info in the manual and we currently do not have a actual unit of these with us in our offices but let us know of any feedback. You can download the map here: http://db.tt/c0fciYG2
We suggest the you connect the LC2412 via midi to Emulation, using the new midimap. In case of a computer failure you have an excellent backup; you can just connect the LC2412 via DMX directly to his lights.
Make sense? also the file needs to go into the midimap folder. Are you on Mac or Windows?
