Hi Max and welcome to the forums.

Latest is version 1.3 for the DS 250 Pro. As for how to get an updated version, please call support. They would be able to help you there. Also note that there are major changes to the profile going from version 1.2 or below to 1.3. You will have to get new profiles for the lights if you update to version 1.3.

I bought 2 new and they say both 1.0.
What are the differences between 1.0 and 1.3. Should I update (Software Update input)?

regards
Max

I am not completely sure what the update entails. The ROMs have to be flashed clearly, but their might also be slight hardware differences as well. Best bet is to ask service to see if it is just as simply as flashing the ROMs or some a little more evolved.

As far as changes, the profiles are slightly different. The biggest addition is the ability to do split colors and gobos with the new version.

How do I clean the gobos (nothing stands in the manual)? One gobo is really dirty from the factory....

For glass, compressed air and some glass cleaner. For metal, just some compressed air. If you pull them out, just make sure you put them in the correct way again. This prevents failure.

How do I get the glass gobos? How do I take them out? This is unfortunately not described in the manual.

Max
